Who are we
We are a collection of like minded artists who meet once a week to practise and further our interest in art.
We are progressive and have a completely open view on what constitutes art so artistically anything goes.
Members need to contribute with ideas, stimulation and a positive open approach to their art and be prepared to venture out of their comfort zone when challenged. It is important to be a "team player" and be able to structure and lead sessions themselves.
Location
In the Summer we meet on site at locations shown on the programme page
In the Winter months from September we meet at a studio in Peppard near Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire
All meetings are on Tuesdays and start at 10 am unless otherwise given and generally end around 1 pm
What is on offer
The Studio sessions are a mix of defined projects or challenges using a range of media, discussion, instruction and session where you determine yourself exactly what you wish to do. Part of the artistic contribution is to offer ones work for open criticism and equally to offer opinion on the work of others.
If you are interested
In order to stay vibrant and practical, we have an upper limit on the number of artists who are members but are interested to hear from any artist who would like more information. It is best if you contact us and discuss what your interest is and what you would like to get out of your art. We are friendly and would be pleased to talk about how you might fit in with what we do.
